For these earrings, I have hand wrapped two large round black onyx stones (12 mm), and hung a little bit of silver chain fringe in uneven lengths from them, so the earrings move freely. At the end of each chain, I've attached smaller round black onyx stones that are half the size of the large ones (6 mm). The ear hooks are also handmade from silver plated metal. They are shorter than I usually make, finishing at the top of the first stone in the back so they do not interfere with the chains. The full length of the earrings down to the longest chain is about 2 1/4" (6 cm).
